AWB MEETING NOVEMBER 14, 2015
Corrections to October 17 Minutes
The Treasurers report was corrected from $414 to the balance of $718.64.
The October minutes should have stated that Jamey Vaughters held a Fund
Raiser at the MCB Convention where participants were to guess the amount of
candy in the jar, that figure is $30.
The October minutes were approved with the corrections.
President William Hawkins called the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m...
The Lord's Prayer was recited.
20 members answered roll call, no guests were present.
Tracey Hawkins gave the Public Relations Report Darla Rodgers made the
motion, there was a second that AWB adopt 3 to 5 Children from CCVI.
Tracey will work with the staff at CCVI and then the gift cards would be
given to the parents of the adopted children, on the be-half of AWB.
Deposits $2669.75 ending balance $1129.39
Disbursements $2255.00
Shirley gave the MCB Board Meeting held on Thursday November 12, however, it
was a meeting introducing new board members to the responsibilities of being
an officer on the board.
President Hawkins gave the MCB Board report, for the October board meeting.
President Hawkins introduced our speaker Nalah Mditi She has worked in the
Nonprofit 8 years. Nalih will look at the organizations documents, and
prepare a proposal that will be brought back to the board, and membership
President William Hawkins said the December meeting would be held at
Alphapointe Saturday December 5 at 12:00 pm.
The following reports were not given Health Benefits, Membership, special
services, fund raising, President gave the activity report discussing the
Gangster Tour, and we would need at least 25 people in order to get group
pricing.
Emails should be coming about this and the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:15 pm.
